Ministry Coordinators

Role: To assume the leadership responsibility for your workplaces Campaign. He or she sets the tone, brings together the necessary resources, delegate's specific tasks and guides the process.

Responsibilities:

  • Become knowledgeable about the Community Fund and its funded charitable organizations.
  • Represent your organization at Community Fund functions including the training workshop, the Community Fund Kick-Off and Thank You events (if applicable), and any other Kick-Off awareness event held in your ministry/entity/region.
  • Establish an action plan for your campaign.
  • Completion of Statistical Form C.
  • Forward completed pledge cards, pledge forms, cash/cheque donations and stats form C to the Community Fund Office.

Canvasser

Role: The role of a Community Fund Canvasser is to be a resource and contact person for employees. To deliver the Community Fund message, while distributing and collecting pledge cards and any pledge forms. The Canvasser also assists with the promotion of awareness events.

Responsibilities:

  • Become knowledgeable about the Community Fund and its funded charitable organizations.
  • Complete Statistical Form AB.
  • Initiate a small fundraiser in you unit to stimulate interest (optional).
  • Forward completed pledge cards, pledge forms, cash/cheque donations and stats form AB to your Ministry Representative.
  • Promote the Community Fund Campaign:
    • Display posters and other campaign information material.
    • Distribute pledge cards.
    • Provide co-workers with campaign timeline.
    • etc..
